Family: Mother is French, father is Scottish. A very wealthy family. Has an older brother (23) who is moved out of the house and has his own place; Elise is close to her brother and he is the only one who encourages her to fulfill her dreams.
Biography: Since she was so small with unusual eyes, Elise was teased often as a child, however she always managed to look at life with comedy and lightheartedness. It was difficult for her to look at things with heavy weight, even in her attendance of Edinburgh’s greatest international school. This is not to say she never took it seriously (she was quite smart, “and always quite lazy”, some of her teachers would say), but she certainly never took any of the tasks with a sense of gravity like many of her other classmates. Her friends and family loved her though, for they believed that this simply who she was, who she was chose to become. They accepted her this way, laughing at her jokes and ruffling the hair on her head with affection.
As senior year rolled around, Elise found herself looking at a career assessment. Unsure and suddenly filled with anxiety, she looked around to find everyone prepared to move on with their lives they readily built over the years. The truth hit her and it caused a flurry of searching and roaming for her perfect career. She assessed hobbies she liked, but found those would not take her anywhere, preferring a sense of financial security and a feeling of content. Finally when she settled on being a successful scientist, she announced it to her friends with pride. Many of them doubted her, as her family (like many of the other families in the international school) was wealthy enough to keep Elise spoiled and pleased. Her good friends laughed and ruffled her hair like usual, “Ellie, you're so cute. Don't you want to work on your strengths? What about an actor? A TV personality? Or maybe a comedian?”. She tried to tell them that she was serious about what she decided and that she would work just as hard as everyone to get to her goal, but to no avail. None of them took her seriously, after all they had never seen her lead anyone, nor did they think she would do it well. Even after graduating and going to college, majoring in business, they still doubted her ability. They found her pursuits something to keep her occupied and entertained till she took their 'inevitable' advice.
But Elise did not leave her dreams in the dust. She was crushed by everyone's less than helpful support, yet she understood that these trials were her own. Near the end of graduation and the beginning of her summer break, a friend of hers told her about a VR game, Ardermina Online. Finding it as an opportunity to prove her worth, she made her character and decided to have a serious and ambitious personality while in AO, so she could never be taken lightly as she is in her real life.
