Personality: Generally very shy when it comes to meeting new people, Koemi generally keeps to herself and gets easily flustered and apologetic when asked to do something, even if she has done nothing wrong. As a nervous tic, her hands tend to flutter when she becomes flustered, leading more than once to unfortunate mishaps as the barista for a heavily tourist-frequented cafe. When worried, Koemi more often than not touches her bottom lip and paces, a trait unconsciously picked up from her mother... And she does worry. Quite a bit.

Backstory: Child to a family of middle-class, Koemi never really attracted any attention in school. She got average grades by studying just the same as everyone else, and was really quite the wallflower. Her talents did not lie in the arts, nor in phys. ed. Her only real skill was her impeccable organization.

So, perhaps she did not have the bright future of a doctor, or a scientist, but Koemi was content with her secretarial future. Her parents were goodnatured folks, and didn't mind her resigned career choice, though there was a time where they insisted that she ramp up her effort in her school work and aim higher. When they saw that their demands yielded only dismal results, and caused more stress of their daughter than was strictly necessary, the Mirakagis eased up and let their daughter make her own path.

Because of her peaceful background, Koemi often becomes awkward in social situations, and views even the slightest bit of annoyance as one of the most terrifying things in the world. She is not overly a fan of conflict, but for all her wishes to keep the peace, Koemi has but one good friend, and she is not even able to see him. In fact, she does not even yet know his name. She knows him only by his online name, Ryilin Ouse. Because of the auto-translate, she does not know if he really speaks japanese, or if he is from another part of the world, but recently she had sent him a private message with her phone number in hopes that he might find a way for them to speak offline. Every night now, she habitually checks her ancient touchscreen phone in hopes that he might have finally contacted her.
