Sieghart : Patrick Anderson Empty
PostSubject: Sieghart : Patrick Anderson   Sieghart : Patrick Anderson EmptyWed Jul 17, 2013 3:13 pm

Name: Patrick Anderson

Server:  United Kingdom, London

Age: 22

Personality

• Approachable, he is capable of getting along with a assortment of people.

• Has a deep settled fear of brushes or anything that resembles it. (Zebra’s mane for example.) Combs and other toiletries are fine, only brushes.

• Loves novels of all kinds, but his favorite genre is fantasy, he loves the thrill of adventure that comes from them and that is what brought him to this game, the idea of living out an adventure like his stories is amazing to him.

• He also has a odd love for pineapples, really loves the fruit to death.

• He has some experience with RPGs, and throughout all of these rpgs he has terrible trouble parting with any sort of item… thus making him stock-pile huge amounts of items, making it a huge problem when his inventory is full and he must discard something. He often has problems, for example he had to decide on either to throw away a piece of ore and keep a monster’s horn or throw away the horn all together…  he has yet to decide this till this day, that was when he was 17 years old.

• Though he hoards items doesn't means he’s messy, if he has space he will order them and keep them so with diligence, seems to oddly remember everything he has picked up.

• In real life he is much the same, save the hoarding part of course. A very meticulous and orderly person, his mind seems to always be ticking, thinking about something.

Back story:

It all started with his father, a fishing vessel captain and his mother, a rather successful business woman. You wonder, now how could these two have possibly meet? Well it started where all good and long standing relationships start, the pub.

Now as it does seem like the two just accidentally gave Patrick life, which is absolutely the case, rum does that sort of thing. The two weren't unhappy with whom they were stuck with, though to the sea captain’s surprise it wouldn't be like settling down with a nice young lass, more like being stuck slave and lover to a dragoness. You see Patrick’s mother is a very strong willed sort of woman (save for the time with rum portrayed up above, momentary lapse of judgement) matched with a strong temper and a time is money attitude, it was up to the poor old sea captain to teach the poor boy how to not become a likable person, which he did somewhat well on (the best a sailor really can do, he got manners down but swearing was a big problem.). The sea captain was a good strong and kind man (though he had a potty mouth), he loved being there for his boy but the seas always were his home and he always longed to be out even in the periods that he was home for. Patrick idolized his father, loving stories of his adventures and the many close calls. Though many of the stories were fish tales, Patrick loved them greatly, thinking of his daddy as a invincible hero!

Now this dysfunctional yet somewhat happy family kept on for a good while, much longer then you would think, the father had to leave frequently due to his work and the mother had to as well, so they left him with a babysitter, who in light of Patrick’s picked up swearing, soon kicked that habit out of him, for his own good. At the age of 8 he started his fascination with novels, starting off with some small children’s fables, and then quickly rising higher into more difficult titles he delved deeper and deeper into the realms of fantasy and adventure.

All great tales must have a travesty, that’s the rules of the book, this travesty happens around the boy was about 14 years of age. At around 13 his mother set him to work, so at this time he had a okay part time job working for his old baby sitter, whom soon after Patrick left her due to his age became a baker. This travesty happened to his father, as you know being a sailor is a tough job, can be deadly as well, but the sailor was a strong man and his crew were trusty and good people. But that one night, everything went to hell, strong winds, crushing waves, lightning flashing in the sky, the ship never returned to port. The ship didn't but the crew survived by the hands of the captain, who had released the crew into the waters, leaving him alone with the ship. The crew doesn't know what happened after they were sent adrift into the sea, but they know the ship and their captain is gone. The sea was the man’s life, and it was also his death, for a good captain is one with his ship and a good captain goes down with the ship. The crew informed the family with sincere regrets, they could do nothing.
Needless to say Patrick and his mother were shocked; the tough man they knew and loved was now dead beneath the waters of the ocean. His mother had thought about this a great deal over the years, knowing her husband’s work was dangerous… But to Patrick it was like his world was torn apart, his father, the tough strong man was dead, his hero has fallen to the waves.

Patrick moved on in over the years, the sadness kept in now and again but he remained strong, the boy continued his books and in his work, taking the will he inherited from his mother and pushing on and on. Eventually he finished high school, and was faced with the hefty decision… what was he to do with his life? For 3 months he pondered on this, and it turned out the answer was right under his nose, a librarian. It wasn't the most compelling of jobs but it took to him no less. His mother preferred he went with something like her, at this time she had become partnered with a Japanese electronics company and was making more than enough to make up for the loss of her husband’s income thankfully.

During his studies at college, he was surprised himself he had to go to college to be a librarian but I digress, the work was hard but he seemed to be doing good with it, so he found himself with a great deal of free time. That’s when he found the game, a game that he could himself be a hero, like his father.  He was living in an apartment at the time and he luckily didn't have to worry too much about making too much noise, the room was luckily placed between two empty ones and the building itself was relatively new.

And thus we come to an end… wait, what? The fear of brushes well that’s a whole other story, a short one but no less odd. You see one time during his life he was fine with brushes, he wasn't overly particular with them but when he was about 4 years old, his imagination was starting to kick into full gear. It was the middle of the night, Patrick had to go to the washroom so he climbed out of his bed and moved his way down to the door and stopped suddenly… at the time, unbeknownst to him, his mother was watching a horror movie on T.V, his father was gone to work for a few weeks so they would be alone for a while and she was bored.

The Horror movie was alright at best, not very scary whatsoever, but it would scare a child with the hideous screaming coming from it. Poor little patty was frozen in place and slowly started to walk out, unsure of what this scary noise was he accidently hit something with his foot and stumbled back. Something was on him now, in the pitch dark he could see nothing, a small monster with something bushy on it back that sort pricked to the touch. He screamed and flailed with the monster as the memory was implanted in his mind, the terror that came from the small demon brush.  Of course his mother heard this and put a stop to it, but he was never able to handle a brush ever since.
