Michael Price :: Madeline Clark Empty
PostSubject: Michael Price :: Madeline Clark    Michael Price :: Madeline Clark EmptyFri Dec 13, 2013 5:14 pm

Name: Michael Price
Server: Orlando, Florida
Age: 22
Personality: Well-mannered and generally agreeable. He often finds it better to blend in with the crowd then set the trend, even if he does pay meticulous attention to his appearance. Michael has many acquaintances, but very few actual friends. Still, his first priority in life is to obtain a great education in hopes of one day living the american dream (while not naive, it's still nice to dream, isn't it?).
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark grey.

Height: 6'1"
Build: With a metabolism that hasn’t quite caught up to him, Michael sports pleasantly surprising abs and otherwise an only very slightly toned form.
Skin Tone: Classic gamer's tan.
Appearance reference: TBA

Backstory: Growing up in a small suburban neighborhood just on the outskirts of major tourist traps Disney World and Universal Studios, Michael began life with a fascination with Disney and all things fantastical. When he was a kid, while all the other little boys were off racing remote-controlled cars, he was off in his own little world of clay sculptures and towering castles of blocks. Thought it enraged his mother to no end, there was a time that Michael refused to sleep anywhere but the blanket fort he remade daily in the basement, often suffering from insignificant illnesses due to the cold atmosphere of his chosen sleeping habitat.

While he would never reveal this next bit to anyone, it still certainly played a key role in his rapid maturity and sudden abandonment of his childhood playmates. For his tenth birthday, Michael's Dad (his parents had never marries, and while they had kept up appearances until Michael was 6, it was readily apparent to the adult world that the couple were entirely unsuitable for one another, and Michael's mother Amanda left her boyfriend the summer of Michael's seventh year, while he was away at summer camp. Thanks to some quick thinking and no shortage of clever arrangements, the small boy could barely tell the difference) decided to finally cave and grant his son's one wish; they were going to Disney.

While Michael himself had grown out of the kiddish costumes he would have normally donned for the event, the excitement was still written clear as day on his face. No matter how hard it might rain, or how long the lines were bounds to be, or if his father simply couldn't afford to buy him more than a tiny mickey mouse hat as a souvenir, it didn't seem like anything could ruin his day... Until the old man appeared. It wasn't clear how he had gotten into the park, but Michael had memorized every crease and wrinkle on that man's face. He didn't belong. Michael's father left him at the ringtoss booth while he visited the candy stand just across the aisle, though with the throng of people milling about, visibility was less than poor. Though he had been in a hurry, the line had been plenty long enough for the man, eye sunken with age, to snatch up his son and disappear into the crowd.

It took park authorities three hours to locate the pale-faced boy who knelt beneath the shade of a broad-leafed palm near the entrance of the park. Never once had Michael recounted the details of his encounter, but rather accepted the scolding of his father without so much as a whine. That night, he started packing away all of the stuffed toys and little sculptures he'd collected over the years into boxes for either sale or disposal, claiming only to have outgrown such things. His quiet and reclusive nature set in then, and continued into his adulthood.

Having finished highschool with rather average achievements across the board, Michael attends a mid-grade college (St. Lucians) in-training to be a trader for one of the numerous multi-national banks that thrive off his tourist-trap of a home, firmly convinced that so long as he stays firmly in the security of the familiar, he'll be safe and well. While reluctant to take part in the phenomena known as Ardermina Online, Michael is generally a sucker for peer pressure, and promised one of his closest friends, Brian, that he'd give the game a shot. Only Brian knows that the player behind Madeline is actually male. Even with his promise to give Ardermina a fair assessment, Michael still only logs a couple hours a day, max, in-game, entirely reluctant to indulge in his fantasies again.
