The day finally came an end as a completely pooped Tommy kicked open his dorm room door, his eyes locked on to his bed as he moaned and groaned like a zombie almost, dragging his boots on the floor and tossing top to the nearest chair.
"Sleeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppp... Man this day completely sucked... Time for a nap... But first, maybe a shower and some fo-....?"
He was turning halfway as he spoke, stopping as his eye hit some postage box sitting next to his doorway, propped against the wall with a big company logo stamped on the side. His eyes moved up and down for a bit observing the text, before they finally lit up with excitement and he broke out of his zombie stupor.
"IT'S HERE! ITS HERE! ITS HERE!"
Flinging out a knife, he took at the package like a kid at Christmas, throwing around any type of wrapping that got in his way and finally stopping as he found the equipment inside. He looked puzzled somewhat, staring at the head set and helmet and seeing just how many wires there were to this thing.
"Yay... I have to put it together... Awesome..."
With a sigh and a even more tired look on his face then before, he stood up and tilted his head to the side as he stared. After maybe a minute or so of contemplating, he grabbed his little set of tools he kept under the sink in his bathroom and went to work.
"Alright then, this goes here.... and this goes here.... ANNNND.... WALAH!!!"
He stood up to look at his masterpiece with a smile, admiring the work he had just did, granted it was no where near difficult and required a lot less time then it took him to finish, BUT all in all it was done and ready for take off. Grabbing the head set, he flipped the switch and let the lights and gizmos flare up his slightly dark room, and then heard a random computer female voice begin to speak in a soft like tone.
"Welcome to Ardermina Online. The Registration Process will begin now. Please state your identification key to proceed."
"Oh great... Now I have to register? Eff..."
After ten minutes of speaking passwords and customizing just about everything he could think of, he finally got out of the customization area and a Female wearing a somewhat formal get up stood in front of him and appeared.
"Welcome Kira, to the world of Ardermina Online. Being this is your first time logging in, we will now proceed to the tutorial area so you can learn a bit more about how things will work in our world. When you are ready, state when you wish to continue."
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Pass tutorial... pass TUTORIAL!!! PASS EETTTTTT"
"Transporting to Tutorial Area."
"Dammit..."
Shiro sat back and began to learn the ups and downs, the lefts and rights, and just about any basic details about this brand new and exciting game. Of course, he felt more like he was back in school trying to sit through a lecture and stay awake at the same time. But for now, he persevered and slaved through the tutorial view for now.
