A few things;
-Server must be one that is currently up and running; that also means your hometown must be one of the IRL forums already up.
-You do understand that the setting is fantasy, and mechs and the like would not be able to be developed, correct? Even still, such armor in your picture would not be available to you to start off, even if such a thing had been developed (no NPC can do it, so unless you know how to build one yourself IRL and can find all the materials in the game, you're out of luck).
-Your element does not have to be traditional, but it does have to have a theme. Yours could be bubblegum if you really wanted. 'Elementless' energy doesn't really fit the bill, unfortunately.
-Remember that your starting weapon must be as simple as possible. When starting the game, you only get one, and there's nothing all that special about it. You can get an NPC to upgrade it slightly while you're in game, but most of the cool stuff is provided through monster drops.
-Generally you don't have skills to start off in the game, it's something your character learns.
-Additionally, you must learn everything from scratch here. You have an advantage if you know how to do those things IRL with your own body, but otherwise it's just like learning a new skill in the real world. Only difference is, you're probably in much better shape on Ardermina.
-Additionally, we try to stay away from stats here, since they aren't prevalent in the game. Here, we focus more on the storytelling rather than the MMO aspects. We find it fits better with the literary format.
-And lastly, your forum avatar should be your in-game avatar.

Too bad I can't be Canadian, guess I'll have to make him move to the USA.

by elementless, i was meaning neutral, meaning like, not light, dark, fire, water, earth or air, just the base, like it hasnt been given an element yet.

Oh and please, please please, remove the painful to use scrolling topics box. Impossible to use on mobile, and annoying to wait for on desktop.
